The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us how much of a critical impact nurses have on our lives. To honor and celebrate the many ways in which nurses have always been here for us, the American Nurses Association has selected “Nurses Make A Difference” as this year’s Nurses Week theme.
“Nurses have made countless sacrifices these past couple of years, and these sacrifices are what has made a difference for patients seeking care during these extremely difficult times,” says Amanda Cruse, Senior Managing Director of our Healthcare division. “Not only do we want to give thanks to all of the nursing professionals we work with, but we want you to know just how much of a positive impact you’ve made. We truly couldn’t be more grateful for you and the work you do!”
National Nurses Week was originally established in 1954 to honor Florence Nightingale. Today it is a national event that celebrates the contributions that nurses and nursing make to the community. Learn more here.
